Leslie A. Butler was born and raised in the Ann Arbor area. She earned a B.A., Cum Laude, from Eastern Michigan University in 1990 and a B.S., With Distinction, from the University of Michigan in 2003. She earned her J.D. from Wayne State University in 2008. She has experience with prosecuting deed fraud and mortgage fraud and has extensive knowledge over her 20 year career of the documents, financing, and regulations related to the real estate brokers, title companies, mortgage companies, and appraisers involved in real estate transactions. She also has in-house counsel, underwriting, closing and escrow experience in the commercial real estate department with the largest Title Company in the world where she worked on hundreds of transactions involving oil, gas and mineral interests, rights of way for telecommunications companies, multi family and condominium developments, commercial and retail developments, a few over $60m. She has guided hundreds of clients to complete individualized estate plans, create and administer trusts and probate loved ones’ estates. She has guided many entrepreneurs through the process of choosing the right business entity for their endeavor and drafting all the governing documents and contracts needed.
